we are looking for someone who excels in the challenge of finding new business opportunities with a few key rohde & schwarz customers in the san francisco bay area.
as one of our test & measurement account managers, you will be part of a customer-focused team dedicated to maximizing sales through the development of new business utilizing a solutions-based sales approach. this role takes place in a fast-paced technical environment that provides continuous opportunity for growth in the test and measurement industry. product categories that enable our customers to succeed include spectrum/signal analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, power meters, and communication test systems.
your tasks
- generate new business opportunities through strategic sales initiatives and active prospecting
- understand customer needs and position rohde & schwarz to meet those needs for digital, electrical, power integrity, and rf engineering customers
- find and foster new customer relationships alongside other account managers in the region
- build and manage a strong account plan and sales funnel for multiple strategic customers
- manage customer opportunities and projects while working closely with r&d, product specialists and marketing colleagues
- actively learn and understand our competition’s products
- provide input and feedback to product marketing, service and development groups on customer product and application requirements.
