with a growing product portfolio and customer base, we are looking for a talented and enthusiastic application engineer that will thrive in a busy sales environment. you will be responsible for pre and post sales support of the latest generation of r&s electronic warfare and signals intelligence systems. technology wise you will be focused on the rf spectrum and have strong knowledge in the cellular and non-cellular rf standards such as 5g, 4g and wlan. the successful candidate will play a fundamental role in supporting our sales team in the uk but extend cross border to european and 5 eyes communities. you must have good interpersonal skills, be comfortable presenting and discussing our solutions, and working as part of a busy sales team.
your tasks
- pre/post-sales support including customer demonstrations, technical seminars and trainings on the latest generation of r&s communications testers
- support the customer technically during the entire sales process
- identify test and measurement challenges in the market and create competitive advantages by providing customer specific applications
- actively contribute to customer and sales training as well as trade fairs
- assist the sales force to meet or exceed sales quota through provision of technical expertise
- provide technical feedback and new customer requirements to both product management and development
