with the internal digital gps option r&s^®smate-k44 the r&s^®smate200a vector signal generator can simulate dynamic signals for the global positioning system with up to four satellites per baseband. in case of a 2-path instrument equipped with two basebands and two r&s^®smate-k44 options, up to 8 satellites can be simulated and controlled within one dialog. since the signal generation is done in realtime with actual almanac data, the satellite signals are realistic.
